Job Summary:

PatientPoint is looking for an experienced Corporate Communications Director to join our team and oversee internal and external communications. The successful candidate has extensive experience in public relations, communication strategy and corporate communications, as well as a passion for developing relationships with media. This person must be a strategic yet tactical cross-functional collaborator. Moreover, the right candidate is an exceptional writer and messaging expert, with a keen ability to translate complex healthcare and technology concepts into accessible messages to distinct audiences. You will work across many teams to identify and develop a consistent cadence of stories that help move the needle for us as a brand, thought leader and company. You will be responsible for building relationships with key media outlets and identifying earned opportunities to further our message and brand position in market. You will also craft external communication strategies across public relations, marketing communications, social media, events and speaking opportunities that amplify PatientPoint's leadership in the market. In this role, you will also develop and implement internal communication strategies and programs that help grow employee engagement with the support of our Internal Communications Manager, whom you will manage. You will also support our executive team and business unit leaders with leadership communication and associate enablement communications. In addition, you will manage the relationship with PatientPoint's external PR agency.

What You'll Do:
  • Creation of overall public relations strategy and tactical plans for corporate and segment exposure that impacts enterprise goals
  • Engaging with media outlets to generate public relations opportunities across the enterprise
  • Drive external communications programs - both proactive outreach and responsive/crisis communication planning - to increase awareness of PatientPoint's brand
  • Identify and manage media coverage outreach and interview opportunities
  • Drive development of all media relations materials including briefing documents, press releases, media alerts, pitches, communication plans, award submissions, speaking proposals and media lists
  • Support content creation for thought leadership, executive blogs, speaker/event attendance and more
  • Manage social media channels, working closely with other members of Marketing team for content creation and execution
  • Build trusted relationships with colleagues across product, engineering, marketing, business development, sales, customer success, talent and more
  • Manage external public relations agency in support of PatientPoint
  • Translate the enterprise and business group strategies into internal messaging and enablement tools
  • Executive support including thought leadership content, media training, social media support

Desired Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of work experience in public relations, communication strategy and/or corporate communications (experience within healthcare preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful internal and external communication strategies
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize urgent and important initiatives effectively, especially in stressful and ambiguous situations
