Field Service Technician - Remote

The Field Service Technician, Digital Signage position audits and maintains PatientPoint digital signage systems in point-of-care environments while delivering unparalleled customer service. When not in the field, the Field Technician serves as a subject matter expert for service processes, troubleshooting documentation and overall quality of field work.

  • Maintains network uptime in region by completing installs, repairs, and audits of digital signage equipment for PatientPoint systems in health care settings
  • Assists in internal process building/ documentation and key strategies to drive field quality
  • When not in field, cross-trained to assist in helpdesk troubleshooting calls and provide impeccable customer service
  • Diagnoses and performs end-to-end troubleshooting for CPUs, digital signage screens, touchscreens, tablets, and similar types of technology
  • Has experience in and complete understanding of an engineered data network and how to configure LAN and WAN devices. To include Access Points, Cellular modems, switches, bridges, and extenders
  • Provides exceptional customer service during field visits
  • Trains customers on product features
  • Contributes to technical knowledge base by creating job aids, training manuals, videos, and other content for technical and field team

  • CTS, BICSI, or other industry certifications highly desired
  • CISCO or other IT certifications highly desired
  • Ability to lift equipment up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to work from a ladder
  • Ability to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a day
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to offsite locations up to 50-75% of a work week
  • A driver's license is required
