Online Business Development Representative

Job Summary:

The Business Development Representative is responsible for the business development and lead generation of PatientPoint products within new and existing customers. This Business Development position will help establish and maintain mid to high level relationships with key decision makers within independent health practices, health systems / hospitals thru cold calls, mailings, emails, outreach to sister sites/ hospitals, and working with current clients. The BDR falls under the Provider Solutions Inside Sales Organization and the position will support the Sales team in closing sales.

What You Will Do:
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Work with and coordinate activities with the Sales team on a daily basis
  • Make 50+ calls and 2+ hours talk time per day with prospective and existing customers
  • Utilize internet, LinkedIn and Definitive databases to identify key decision makers
  • Represent PatientPoint in a positive and professional manner
  • Demonstrate knowledge of PatientPoint products
  • Prospect, qualify and develop sales opportunities through outbound calling
  • Record sales activity, complete and maintain an accurate sales pipeline using Salesforce.com
  • Conduct ongoing customer needs analysis and research of customer requirements through first
  • party resources
  • Participate in management meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives and
  • other assigned action items

What We Need:
  • 0- 2 years of sales experience

Desired Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrating 100% grammatically correct and professional business communication
  • Experience with using Salesforce
  • Ability to complete high quality/ high volume outbound calls on a daily basis
  • Ability to make effective 'cold' calls and adapt approach to overcome typical challenges (gaining decision maker, handling objections or indecisive clients)
